5 More Months To Go: More Khalifa Stadium Photos

Here are a few more pictures of the Stadium. Taken at sunset it casts a distinctive silhouette on the Khalifa Sport City's skyline. This is the covered walkway at the stadium grounds featuring tensile roof structures.

The stadiums most prominent features are it's two inclined arches - one supports the tensile roof of the west stand while the other holds the events lighting and acts as a counter balance.

Colorful Asian Games banners now decorate the stadium grounds near the entrance.
